Before joining the wonderful Gate House Team at Compass, Mara worked with an international roster of clients in the luxury sector. A tailored and imaginative approach to every marketing project included brand development, sales programs, design, global event management and strong media relationships with leading publications and editors in the US and UK.
With a great love of history and architecture, she handled publicity for luxury properties in the southwest of France dating from the 16th century. Stateside, she served on the board of directors for the Calvert Vaux Preservation Alliance.
Having lived here for twenty years, Mara brings an in-depth knowledge of the Hudson Valley to every real estate project and is dedicated to finding the perfect home for her Compass clients.
Her education includes degrees from Columbia University, Sarah Lawrence College and The New York Restaurant School.
