Gabriel takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to real estate, understanding it’s a critical piece that must fit into the whole of life —whether he is working with young families to find their first home, investors looking for the next hot neighborhood, or condo owners dreaming of a house. His keen intuition and strong empathy allow him to know the buyer before they arrive and identify the perfect apartment from photos and a floorplan.
Formerly a career location scout for the film and TV industry, Gabriel has seen and photographed most of New York City. He has explored buildings, businesses, alleyways, neighborhoods, and sights that most others will never have a chance to see, and many don’t even know exist. Over the next two years, reacting to the wave of people moving to neighborhoods like Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, and Crown Heights, Gabriel began leading tours for first-time buyers and investors unfamiliar with these trending areas. His tours quickly became extremely popular and marked him as a leading expert in emerging markets.
Originally from Baltimore and Philadelphia, Gabriel went to film school at USC. His eclectic resume includes: driving a taxi on Martha’s Vineyard, screenwriting, location scouting, film direction, photography, and freelance journalism. Since 1998, Gabriel has made Brooklyn his home. He has lived in Fort Greene and Williamsburg and currently resides in Greenpoint with his wife and two young sons.
